There are many activities organised in the Community Park during the long school holidays to interest children and stop them getting bored. Many organisations come along to add their support at events or organise there own activities. The Community Park has provided a great area to conduct this type of activity

PFC organises many fundraising events to help support the activities provided for children and the over sixties. These have included Quiz Nights, Car boot sales, social evenings at the local Cliffburn Hotel with sixties nights, race nights and an Elvis tribute singer.  Each year funding is raised from a stall at the Arbroath Sea Fest. Last year three members conducted a sponsored cycle ride raising money for the Pensioners Christmas Party.

As well as providing activities locally, we have  taken children and older people on day trips out. This is a more costly option but it is very rewarding. 2007 saw a trip to the Landmark Forest Activity Centre. It was supported by are volunteers and was really enjoyed by all those who attended.
